Get your family on board the zucchini noodle pasta train with this simple recipe. Simply mix in your favorite protein, whether cooked meatballs, shrimp, or Italian chicken sausage. Add your favorite sauce and enjoy!

Ingredients
  • 4 medium zucchini
  • 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ teaspoon sea salt
  • Freshly ground pepper to taste
  • Mix in's (e.g., fresh spinach, fresh basil, cooked meatballs, cooked sliced Italian chicken sausage, cooked shrimp)
  • Sauce (marinara, basil, butter)
Instructions
  1. Spiralize zucchini
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add garlic and saute for 30 - 60 seconds.
  4. Add spiralized zucchini and saute for 3-5 minutes. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
  5. Add mix-in's, such as fresh spinach, fresh basil, cooked spaghetti, cooked meatballs, cooked shrimp, or cooked chicken sausage. Use tongs to combine over medium heat.
  6. Serve with your favorite sauce and parmesan cheese if desired.
