I find one of the hardest parts of meal planning is just choosing a recipe, especially if you turn to google or Pinterest. Depending on what you type in, you may find yourself scrolling through hundreds of recipes. How do you know which ones are good?
CooksAid is great because it has a little something for everyone. The recipes are healthy, but still really tasty. The portions may be smaller than what many people are used to, but to me that’s the key to being able to eat almost anything. And the photos, well yes, they need to be added and/or updated…someday I will get to that!
So, to get you started on finding recipes for your next meal plan (and save you from all that searching!), here are five of my favorite CooksAid recipes:
Chicken Tacos – This recipe has been on our CooksAid home page for a while because it is so popular. I often have friends comment that it’s one of their favorites too.
Steak and Lettuce Wraps – Your whole family will enjoy making their own little wraps with this dinner. Be sure to add some brown rice or whole grain tortillas for hungry kids.
Veggie & Tofu Stir-Fry – One of my husband’s most requested dinners! Perhaps because it makes him feel so healthy, but also because it really is so simple and delicious.
Turkey Chili – Lighter than traditional beef chili, this hearty meal will warm you up without weighing you down. Make extra so that you are ready for tomorrow’s lunch.
Creamy Dill Salmon – This recipe has been known to convert non-fish eaters into at least salmon eaters! It’s also a great dish for entertaining.
