Method
- Prep accompaniments. Choose an assortment of fruits, snacks, and desserts to go alongside your chocolate fondue bowl. (For the pictured board, I made brownie bites and a cardamom cake, but you could simply buy your sweets!)
- Arrange accompaniments on your board/tray/platter. Get creative!
- Melt chocolate. Break chocolate bar into smaller pieces. You can melt in a double boiler or the microwave. If using the microwave be sure to stop and stir every 20-30 seconds. Use a spatula to transfer the chocolate to your desired bowl or bowls.
- Enjoy! Note, if chocolate hardens or you want to save some for later, simply reheat it in the microwave (assuming it's in a microwave safe bowl of course!)
Notes
How much chocolate should I use?
This is up to you! If you are not sure, try with a smaller amount and melt more as needed. On the flip side, if you melt too much, you can simply save the leftovers and reheat when desired!
