Ginger Tea
Within the hour, I was feeling much better, and as a bonus, my sinuses were cleared up too!
Ginger root has long been known to have medicinal properties. Its many benefits may include:
- As a digestive aid (relief of morning sickness, nausea, upset stomach, gas)
- As an anti-inflammatory (relief of arthritis symptoms as well as other chronic inflammation)
- Providing relief for upper respiratory infections (cough, stuffy nose, sore throat)

Ginger Tea
Fresh ginger root
Boiling water
Honey
Lemon (optional)
- Bring water to a boil.
- Peel skin off ginger root and then peel off several pieces of the inner root for your tea. Or simply slice off a few pieces of the root.
- Place root in your mug and then add boiling water.
- Let steep for five minutes. Add a teaspoon of honey and stir. Enjoy!
