Quarantine Cooking – 40 Pantry and Freezer Based Recipes from Registered Dietitians
Quarantine cooking? I’ve got you covered. Check out these delicious recipe ideas from fellow dietitians that rely mainly on pantry items, frozen foods, and other long-lasting staples.
Quarantine cooking. It has become a reality for much of the world. For the millions of people currently practicing social distancing or even sheltering in place, having a smartly stocked kitchen has become more important. Rather than popping by the grocery store a few times a week to pick up fresh produce and meat, we are stocking up when we can and relying heavily on pantry staples to get us through.
Long-Lasting Kitchen Staples
Fortunately, there are many delicious recipes that you can make using primarily pantry items, frozen foods, and other longer-lasting staples such as onions, root vegetables, winter squash, kale, cheese, and eggs.
To make sure this post has something for everyone, I reached out to my colleagues for recommendations on their go-to pantry and freezer meals. Check them out below. Happy cooking and be well!
