Maria Adams, MS, MPH, RDN, LDN
Maria is a Marblehead, Massachusetts-based Registered Dietitian, college lecturer, food blogger, and recipe developer. Maria takes a non-diet, intuitive eating approach to food and nutrition. She provides one-on-one counseling services for individuals and families, teaches nutrition at Endicott College, and does freelance recipe development and food photography for brands. Maria started out her career working as a dietitian in a hospital setting. She then went to graduate school to focus on nutrition communication and public health.
After earning her MPH and MS degrees from Tufts, she worked for EBSCO Publishing and started her own meal planning service, CooksAid.com, with a colleague from Tufts. She launched her current private practice and blog, Hälsa Nutrition, in 2014.
As a dietitian, Maria has written and edited hundreds of health and nutrition articles for online and print publications. Her words and recipes have been featured in popular publications such as Reader’s Digest, thefeedfeed.com, Everyday Health, Shape, and KSL.com.
When she’s not cooking, writing, or reading up on the latest nutrition research, Maria loves to run, practice yoga, savor a cup of coffee, get outdoors with her dog, and relax with her husband and two boys.
